Banning books hinders younger generations learning abilities massively. Most people are different in the ways they work and the things they want their child seeing. The only problem with this is that this starts controversy and unnecessary drama around younger audiences.
And many audiences of older people do not like things found in books so they challenge in communities to get them banned. Is banning books truly necessary and the hindering of children’s learning for them to see or hear a few less bad words they “haven’t seen or heard before”? Books give value to the things and people we encounter and know about from the past. “The books that the world call immoral are books that show the world its own shame.” (Oscar Wilde). If these things are blindly looked over, there’s no telling how many other things the world will look past because of the censorship that we rely on to get rid of “nasty” language that we see. We need books like the ones that have been banned to show and prove to us what this country really has earned up to be. What we have worked for even through all the flaws. Therefore, these are problems that don’t need to be happening and should be stopped for the youth of this country and all other walks of life. And This means that there are many other things communities should be worrying about other than banning books. Plus These books are important to the knowledge of young people which is why Things like this are the smallest of our societies problems.
