Competitive sports can be healthy when they provide feedback for the kids about their performance. When kids get to learn about themselves under challenging situations competition can teach kids lessons that they don’t typically learn in the classroom like hard work and dedication. It is important that coaches, educators, and parents work to teach kids these valuable lessons from competition.
