Dear Parents of Amery Middle School Students: The problem is with sports is that some people think that sports are bad for children because they get to The physical and others think that sports are a better choice than to do nothing and learn sportsmanship. If one had to choose on side for the competitive sports, it would be children should play competitive sports because sports help children make positive decisions and to help them with their health. The first reason why children should play competitive sports is that it helps them will their positive decision.
Kids should be introduced to sports at a young age. For kids to gain more social benefits they should start a sport a young age. If kids need to build up physical benefits, sports is one way to help it. But the risk of injury or failure can happen happen in sports would you take the risk in letting your kid play?
Kids in sports are not at risk because it builds lifelong relationships and friendships. According to Are Sports Ruining Your Life ? It states that ,” The camaraderie [ mutual trust and friendship among people who spend a lot of time together ] among players builds lasting friendships.” (Anonymous 20). You could get hurt from walking down the stairs in the morning but what are you gonna do just never walk down the stairs?Yes, there are physical risks when playing sports; on the other hand ,you can get hurt doing pretty much anything else. The most common injury that parents are scared about are concussions. If they are really scared about letting their kids play sports because of the risks of concussion then they should be scared to let them do a lot of daily activities. As stated in the magazine, American Teacher,”[Traumatic brain
All children should participate in sports to improve their health, communication skills with other children and even to improve relationships with close friends and family. 40% of Australian children do not participate in any sports outside of school and 25% of Australian children are overweight or obese. This puts the child’s health in danger and also affects other aspects of their lives. Sports can improve a child’s self esteem and can let them develop in something they may never have thought of doing before. Over all, children should participate in sports to develop themselves further in life.
Youth Sports effect on young lives Youth sports can be a crucial part of developing kids life, not to mention their parents lives with all the driving, planning, organising, and the occasional drama from one soccer mom to another about how little timmy’s mom brought unhealthy snacks after the game. Youth sports have changed in many ways since I was little, now kids ,while dragging their family with them, are traveling across country for a game in a 8U league. Experts are always saying kids need to be more active, but to what extent some kids are spending their all their time playing these sports. But some aspects of sports have positives to them and some aspects are negative.
Have you ever wanted to live an active and healthy life, as well as an improvement in grades? I believe youth sports will help all of those problems and many more. Most sports are team sports that also teach your child teamwork. Playing youth sports is a terrific experience for you or your child. There are many reasons why I feel that children should play youth sports.
While some parents believe that the competition can harm kids, I believe that sports can greatly help kids. Making them experience healthy competition and become more well rounded contributing members of society. The first reason that I believe supports my claim is that kids gain a sense of healthy competition that can prepare them for life. This can be seen in the article “Pros and Cons of Sports Competition at the High School Level” where Grace Chen, an education researcher, writer, and educator, states that sports and competition, “...help teens develop an array of personal skills, including resilience, attitude control, time management, and long term thinking abilities” (Chen 6).
Many people believe that in competitive sports most children will get injured, and so those sports are not safe. That is just not true. One reason I say this is because sports can get children and teens from areas where gangs are common from joining these gangs and getting beat up, or worse. According to the President 's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, youth sports can help deter negative behavior, such as joining a gang, because competitive sports provide an outlet for expression, friendship and controlled aggression. Additionally, sports equipment in every sport are getting more advanced, to make the game more safe for the players.
Children who participate in competitive sports at a young age experience more serious negative impacts than positives, including a risk of severe injury, losing
Competitive youth sports have many benefits for kids and teens. However, many other people are convinced that sports can have a negative impact for children. But, there are still more positive effects in competitive sports. I believe that sports are beneficial for kids because they develop long-term life skills, improve physical well-being and health, and help expand their social skills. One positive effect of youth sports is that they help teach athletes important and long lasting lessons to have during their life.
The author Thelma Gomez, says “Playing sports is an important elemen5t in the lives of many American children.” And she is correct. Sports can make kids the next David Wright, the next LeBron James, the next Eli Manning, or the next Lionel Messi. The best part of sports is that you're improving your physical health, psychological health, social skills, and academic benefits. Physical and phychological health can benefit a child in many ways.
Nearly all Americans love sports but is it really worth it. In this generation, competitive sports has become more dangerous than ever sports experts are starting to worry that competitive sports has a more negative effect than a positive effect on children. Most competitive sports can lead to severe injuries, pressure which can lead the youth using illegal drugs, and all the money parents spend on their kids to play sports is ridiculous, and worst of all most children are starting to burn out of sports emotionally and physically. Competitive sports do not have a positive effect on all children because of the cost, pressure/injury, and enjoyment. Most people can all agree that competitive sports are awesome, most people root for their favorite teams, they bet on it, and best of all it has amazing health benefits.
How Competitive Sports is Beneficial Children at a young age have a lot of energy, To solve that problem, they are sometimes put into a competitive sports team. Many will disagree and say that this is unacceptable , while others say that it is beneficial. Children should be able to be put in sport teams because most children play sports as a passion, and it not only benefits them with being athletic and healthy, It's also favorable to children because only its a game, it also teaches children morals, and life lessons. One reason Children should be able to play sports, is that playing sports is beneficial to the kids health.
