1947 THE ROSWELL INCIDENT: On July 7, 1947, strange, unidentifiable material was recovered by a rancher outside the city of Roswell, NM. Was it debris from a crashed spaceship or a top-secret military experiment? The debate has waxed and waned for years.
Under the traditional law, asylum was recognised as the right of the state to be conferred, in its discretion, and individual could only request for it and if granted enjoy it. Unfortunately, all the efforts to ensure right of asylum to every person fearing persecution have been forestalled by states. In the last few years U.S.A, Australia, Germany, France and other European countries to name a few, are increasingly putting into practice restrictive asylum policies in order to deter and to prevent asylum-seekers from seeking refuge in their territory.
Hello, I'm Chris. I'm a 14 year-old teen. You're getting this so far, right? Okay, I'm just making sure. I'm a 14 year-old.
As mentioned before, a high number of planes and ships have disappeared as they pass through the region, generating many conspiracy theories -a lot of them giving inspiration for movies, books, magazines, newspaper articles, documentaries and TV shows.
Being Hispanic can sometimes make you feel like you're not being treated equal in certain situations, I can feel being discriminated or even looked down upon if I am at a place where I don't necessarily "fit in." Being raised in a small community that doesn't have many different races has taught me that yes there is people out there that will not like you based on your skin color and where you come from, but there will be people that will treat you equal no matter what race you are or what skin color you have. As I've grown older I've come to realize and talked to my family about, embracing who you are. I love being able to speak both Spanish and English. It is so important to love yourself in the skin you're in and embrace your unique culture
Imagine if you were born into a country filled with poverty, fear, anxiety, despair and sorrow. The pain and suffering you would go through every day was so violent that you and your family had given up on all measures of hope. Every day you would fear persecution and you couldn’t even feel safe in the comfort of your own home. But what if there was a sliver of hope of escaping this drama occurring in your homeland by leaving by boat. All this drama gone in a flash, wouldn’t you want to try?
How would you feel if you and your family were denied the opportunity to a better life or had to wait years for one? The immigrants goal is to strive for a better future for themselves and their family. Coming here will help them achieve that goal. You may be thinking why cant they have a good future where they live? In some cases, the country they live in could be poor, not have many schools, is not safe, etc.
The United States of America is a land of freedom, a land of equality, and opportunity. We value independence and should look to exercise this in every form, as a nation. We must stay united and show respect to one another. This means we should not disregard ones ' ethnicity and culture, and use names in which are offensive towards their culture, in order to promote any sort of activity. This is aimed mainly at sports teams that carry racially inappropriate names.
Dear fellow nasty women and bad hombres, America is one the greatest experiments in freedom and liberty history has ever known. We are a nation that was built on the minds and ideals of immigrants. Our Founding Fathers created America so that everyone could have a chance at "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Those are aspects of my country, I would never change because they are what make us unique. The glow of America casts a ripple of hope upon those who struggle.
I.Introduction One of the greatest controversies in modern day is illegal immigrants. There are an approximate 11.4 undocumented immigrants that live in our country today. Now with your new action in place, I think it’s a good thing. Mainly because it allows lasting illegal immigrants to stay here, it allows jobs to go to documented americans, and gives children hope for a better future ahead. II.
Space Exploration, quite the amazing topic to us as humans wasn't it. When we were first introduced to the new frontier people really like the idea of the space and the questions that will be answered by exploring this frontier to the fullest, but our excitement seemed to have dissipated, now we question if space fulfilled it expectation or if it should still run but it should still go on, and here is an explanation on why. July 20, 1969, the first man on the moon was recorded, his name was Neil Armstrong. His first steps started a new dawn for mankind, 9 years before Mr. John F. Kennedy gave a speech to shine light onto the new era of exploration but he wasnt talking about earth exploration, oh no he was talking about space exploration but
In order to begin tackling the topical issue of immigration, our society has to begin asking itself why there is a stark division between God 's vision and what 's actually happening. However, understanding these different discrepancies requires that we be willing to include both sides of the conversation without the predisposition to solve the issue with deportation. Although the option seems like an effortless way to solve immigration, ultimately deportation not only steals individuals away from their families and communities, but it also would cost the United States from $700-900 billion to deport every illegal immigrant and an additional $100 billion to make sure that the deported individual doesn 't come back into the United States.
On July 20th, 1969, the Apollo 11 with astronaut Neil Armstrong and his crew, guided by thousands of NASA technicians, supposedly landed on the surface of the moon. It was certainly one of the most extraordinary events accomplished by mankind up to that date. Neil Armstrong’s first words upon stepping on the moon surface will always be remembered “ A small step for mankind, a giant leap for humanity”. Ever since then, this achievement has been a matter of discussion by several groups that either believed or disbelieved this.
Hundreds of years ago, people used to believe that the earth was flat, but with the research and technology, we were able to find out that it is a perfect sphere. Aliens run along those same lines. Even with all the technology today, there is still no definite answer if we are alone in this massive universe or not. There is so much controversy weather or not aliens exist.
Beggars We are beggars unto our own demise even though we have everything we need to survive. We have many other appetites that are uncontrollable, and we are never satisfied. We condemn aliens from other countries wanting to live in our land for whatever reason it may be, and we aren’t happy until we get rid of them, or kill them, or whatever evil thing's people do to other people.
