Good Morning, members of the discovery channel, today I am here to talk about a topic I am very passionate about, and that is the Eureka Stockade. On January 13th, 1982, 79 passengers on the Air Florida Flight 90 crashed into the icy, Potomac River less than a minute after take off. One minute, the passengers were warm and relaxed, sitting in their seats, and the next, they were drowning in the icy Potomac. The thought of "discovery" and "exploration" Space exploration has been the best thing since sugar because it brought the world together.
On July 20th, 1969, the Apollo 11 with astronaut Neil Armstrong and his crew, guided by thousands of NASA technicians, supposedly landed on the surface of the moon. It was certainly one of the most extraordinary events accomplished by mankind up to that date. Neil Armstrong’s first words upon stepping on the moon surface will always be remembered “ A small step for mankind, a giant leap for humanity”. Ever since then, this achievement has been a matter of discussion by several groups that either believed or disbelieved this.

Hundreds of years ago, people used to believe that the earth was flat, but with the research and technology, we were able to find out that it is a perfect sphere. Aliens run along those same lines. Even with all the technology today, there is still no definite answer if we are alone in this massive universe or not. There is so much controversy weather or not aliens exist.
Human is an advanced, indigenous, intelligent species on Earth, or so we would like to think. As humans we would all like to think that we represent a form of rational, wise, analytical group in the gargantuan Universe. We would all tend to think our human race is imperishable, we’re at the top of food chain and aren’t foolish enough to drive ourselves into extinction. I am here to assure you that it’s not. The continued rise of global terrorism and panic in Middle East, additional to remaining oil conflicts in South China Sea and worldwide technological & economic infrastructure lagging in the present days.
