Pandas are cute, cuddly and one of the most beloved animals in the world. Sadly, their numbers have declined and there are only 1600 pandas left living in the wild. Do you ever ask why? To save them is the mission of many conservationists, but should this be at any expense? The dilemma that is facing the animal world right now; should we save pandas or should we allow them to become extinct? The emotive photos of pandas on the internet are the only reason why everyone is in love with them. In reality, pandas are terrifically expensive to protect and our choice, your choice cannot be based on the fact of their endearing fluffiness, while other less attractive species are forced to stay in a shadow and wait for their death to approach. As one of the conservationists working in the WWF, I found that all the money is spent on pandas, while other species are needed in help too. What I aim for is to convince other conservationists from different organisations and even countries to stop defending pandas. I want people who donate money to understand why they must not do it.Talking about money, donated and allocated by the government money the total of which is more than 600000 pounds are spent on pandas every year. Not only do other species suffer because of the lack of the resources, but also people from the bottom of the population pyramid. In China about 160 million people still live in extreme poverty, and one of their critical problems is a food loss.The government won 't help the people, as it finds pandas more important. Poor people are forced to move deeper into the pandas ' area, clearing away the much-needed bamboo. The different areas have been created for pandas ' habitat, which is why they live in separated "islands" and are stopped from roaming and mingling with other giant pandas. It reveals that humans ARE responsible for pandas ' population
