Have you ever had anything taken away from you? The media intentionally over-reports incidents involving pit bulls. They are known throughout history as a respected breed. Owners love and trust their pit bulls. I think people should be allowed to keep their pit bulls as dogs where they live and not have to be relocated to keep their pit bull.

For instance, if a boxer injures someone badly the news will often mistakenly call it a pit bull. In fact, any short-haired, stocky dog could be mistakenly called a pit bull in the news. Pit bulls are known throughout history as a respected breed. First of all as working dogs, they were kept as hunters and guardians as well as herders and pets. Secondly pit bulls remained popular during the 1950 and 60s, as respected companies used pit bulls as their mascots. Miami-Dade Country voted to ban pit bulls. They wanted to ban them because of a terrible attack from a pit bull. The attack cause major surgeries.
