There is a pattern here and nobody is doing anything to help it. Most school shooters have experienced some form of violence or abuse throughout their lives, some even suffer from mental disorders, as stated previously. We have to take into consideration that a lot of these massacres are premeditated and they are planned previous to them taking place. Nearly 50 percent of homicide perpetrators gave some type of warning signal, such as making a threat or leaving a note, prior to the event. We have to take steps to prevent these massacres from happening and it starts with looking and reading for any signals or indications that they have ideas of causing harm to others. According to some research done at Alfred University, some of the top reasons that cause lethal violence in schools are because, they seek vengeance for those who have hurt them, they are victims of bullying and they suffer some sort of mental illness; 62% agree that most shooters do not value life.
