Starting Tuesday January 17, 2017 – TODAY - all students must park in the upper student parking lot. This includes late arrival and early dismissal students. We are having to do this because students have taken over the front lot and our visitors do not have anywhere to park. Bankruptcy is a financial remedy reserved for frantic situations. Student loans are the only form of consumer debt which have considerably different bankruptcy rules. Before 1978, any student loan debt , whether it was private student loans or federally funded loan, was dischargeable in bankruptcy, without any exceptions. Hello Ms. Bahorich, I am a current student at the University of Texas at Arlington and I believe that there is an injustice in the education system in Texas. I believe that the way it’s funded gives a disadvantages to students that attend a school located in a low income neighborhood over schools located in a rich neighborhood. Personally, I admire you for being on the Texas Board of Education as the chairperson, because your job is more than just leading meetings over the Texas education system, giving ideas on how to improve the education system, or make sure that school districts are regulated according to standards. I had my first tuition class when I was 10 years old. The need came when I cried my eyes out for a Mandarin composition homework that I couldn’t write. My parents themselves were stumped by the homework and thought it was best to enrol me in a Mandarin tuition class. Nowadays, kids as young as 3 years old are enrolled in tuition classes. Is there even a need to send these children for extra classes?
