The book of Philippians was written by apostle Paul, while he was in prison. There are multiple different translations for the bible, the fact that there are so many English Bible translations is both a blessing and a problem. It is a blessing having the Word of God available to anyone who needs it in an easy to understand translation. Philippians 4:13 has many translations that may cause some people to be confused about what the word is trying to portray.
It is hard to extinguish which of the translations convey the message the best, there are many opinions of the different translations. In my opinion the version that portrays the message the best is the New International Version “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” “This verse is often used by Christian athletes when they win a game, or event.” (Jared Moore) In my opinion Philippians 4:13 to me means that if there is Christ in your life you will have the strength to do all things. Compared to the YLT bible where it is more difficult for a new reader to understand. These translations have the same meaning just in a different arrangement.
