Competitors: Case Pick-and-Pull has various other automotive salvage yards that present competition to them; however, the hospitality of the staff and the ease of located parts in the yard due to the barcode system will help differentiate them from their competitors. SWOT Analysis: The main “strengths” of Case Pick-and-Pull is the uses of a computer based system to catalog and track every asset that is located on the premises and the ability to price components competitively. This system gives Case Pick-and-Pull the opportunity to focus more on the customer because the system immediately tells the employee if it’s in stock, where it is in the salvage yard, and the current condition of the component or vehicle. The main “weakness” that Case Pick-and-Pull will have to face is the lack of reputation in the local community.
