Places Under Totalitarian Government

115 Words1 Pages
In my personal view totalitarianism is kindly an opposite of democracy where people will elect their leaders. However, totalitarianism is a system where a particular person, director or someone individual, giving no freedom or little freedom to their people than in democracy, will rule people.
“In totalitarianism, the government controls almost every aspect of life. Current and recent examples of places under totalitarian government include North Korea, China, and Iraq”, (L. Jensen, 2018). The worst examples in the past of totalitarian state are the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin and Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler.
