People may ask what plastic surgery is. So what is plastic surgery? A surgical specialty that is dedicated to reconstruction of facial and body defects due to birth disorders, trauma, burns, and disease. Plastic surgery is also involved with the enhancement of the appearance of a person through cosmetic surgery. In 2016, there were around 10,417,370 people who had plastic surgery. Plastic surgery have been becoming more common for a variety of reasons and countless individuals are consulting plastic surgeons with the hopes of looking the way they have always been dreaming of. Recently, plastic surgery has been a controversial subject in many ways. Some people would agree and some people would disagree about having plastic surgery performed. Although I personally believe that plastic surgery should be done without restrictions.

Everyone has the freedom of speech, and this is one of the reasons why I think that plastic surgery should be implemented without restrictions. Facial scarring that leads to problems with the eyelids, lips, nose, or hair loss can also be helped with reconstructive burn surgery. Scars that are abnormally thick, wide, or discolored might also be improved by a variety of operative and non-operative methods.
