Kimorah is a second-grade general education student from a school in the St. George area of Staten Island, New York. Upon having Kimorah assigned as my student and before meeting her, I learned that through prior assessments it is established that she is on a C reading level, and in the second grade. When I think of second graders, I think of babies that were just born into this world a couple years ago, but among meeting Kimorah I quickly realized that she is a person in every sense of the word. Kimorah is a 7-year-old extroverted girl, who is expressive and full of personality. Consequently, shyness does not affect her, but to break the ice further I decided to conduct a set of fun activities.

This case examines the commercial playground market opportunities and what happens when another company purchases several other companies. In the commercial playground market, it centers around distribution and the accounting and manufacturing software. This also is important for knowing your market when your purchase other companies around the world. It makes sure you know how to strategically put a plan together that will work for each company because each one is its own separate entity.
It encourages cooperation and team-work. It allows children whom are more reclusive to move forward through sound participation. Rough and tumble play is universal children’s activity. Rough and tumble play is also a “big body play”, rough housing, horse play or play fighting. They can be directed specifically to address individual areas such as speaking and listening, or can be used more generally to support all areas as they are interlinked. Play is an ideal way to engage children to communicate with others, as they can interact in a non- pressured environment. You can plan for, monitor and assess different areas of learning using play As they grow older, children will still need to be given the chance to enjoy activities and equipment that support their play, creativity and learning across the programme of teaching and learning. It is important that they are given opportunities to use their own initiative, work with others and develop in all areas. These can often be used to best effect when children are introduced to new ideas in practical, imaginative and stimulating ways.
During winter break in 2005, I was in my room with my older brother playing with some Play-Doh. I had left some Play-Doh out the day before. So I took the Play-Doh that was as hard as a rock and threw it up on a shelf about 10 feet up. I threw the Play-Doh up there five times. On the fifth time my brother had hit the truck with his elbow.
Even if you’re not involved in their play it offers a sense of reassurance to children. You can also support a play based approach to learning by encouraging children to play with things they may not have played with before e.g playing with the resource yourself alongside the child. If a child sees what you can do with the resource then they are more likely to eventually participate along side you, copying what you are doing. 4.3 Evaluate different materials and equipment to support play based learning opportunities for children in their early years
For example, I brought ABCD blocks for infants. When they saw the distinct colors of the blocks, three infants came to me. They were very enthusiastic to touch the blocks as well as books. During my reading activity, I observed that children used their fine-motor skill such as pincer grasp to touch blocks and various pictures from the book. When I started to read book for them, they would have smiled, giggle toward at some pictures.
When arranging activities for play based learning within early years provision there can be barriers towards it from taking place. Before the week begins, planning is needed. When planned activities are prepared resources are needed too. Resources can become a barrier towards play. This is because the resources that were needed were not available to be used.
Even though S.H. repeated two numbers and built a bridge, she was not able to decipher the figure that looked like a person nor repeat three numbers in order. More specifically, the skills that we used to plan the activity were brainstorming and giving feedback. During one of our meetings, three of our members collaborated together to come up with potential ideas for an activity. Once each of us suggested ideas, we were able to build off of each other’s ideas, which eventually led to our final activity idea. During this brainstorming process, I initially came up with the idea of having the children engage in a goal-setting activity, but received feedback from another member that this activity may be difficult for the younger children. With brainstorming and giving feedback, we were able to come up with an activity that worked for both the younger and older elementary-aged children.
Child’s Play, written by Higuchi Ichiyo, is a short novel centred around the growth of children, particularly those associated with the pleasure quarters. The story takes place over a few days, nevertheless, we are given an idea on the backgrounds of the three main characters, Shōta, Midori, and Nobu, and watch them gradually lose their childlike innocence. Although not explicitly stated, the last three paragraphs suggest that all three protagonists have followed the footsteps of their parents and in Midori’s case, her older sister. This essay discusses the impending tragic future of children who are destined to take after the occupations of their family.
The main purpose of the study in the article, “The Effects of Background Television on the Toy Play Behavior of Very Young Children,” is the determination of any negative impacts that background television may have on young children in regard to their play habits. This is an important matter because televisions are a common household appliance in many countries throughout the world and are often left on.
