1. A description of how the PLC concept is employed at your school. Professional Learning Communities (PLC) takes careful planning and collaboration among all staff members. However, once the foundation is built the benefits will be very rewarding for all. The PLC employed at my school will consist of my staff, which is kindergarten through grade six. First and foremost, the principal, which is me, has an extremely important role in fostering the development of a successful PLC. To ensure that PLCs are successful at my site I will begin by teaching my staff how to collaborate, assist the teams in developing their norms and protocols.
