Poison Ivy believes her idea is a heroic means of saving the world and giving mother nature a second opportunity, but according to a utilitarian perspective, she is certainly evil.

Poison Ivy is a clear example of a villain. She does not follow rule utilitarianism. She is a drama queen and thinks she “rules the world” just because she got pushed into some random chemicals. Poison Ivy is immune to all poisons which include viruses, bacteria, and fungi. The toxins in her bloodstream make her touch extremely deadly. This shows that Poison Ivy did not follow the Utilitarianism rule as she did not produce the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people, though she only thought of herself and “mother nature”. Poison Ivy wanted her mutant plants to take over the world and a chance for mother nature to start again. She wants to corrupt the world with her plants and thinks she is doing good for society. Poison Ivy would be killing hundred thousand of people just to save the planet but doesn’t think about what other ways she could solve this problem. Freeze by killing his wife and for him to want revenge on the world, thus helping her with her plan. She knew that if she killed his wife there would be no competition and that Mr. Freeze could be easily manipulated and would join Poison Ivy to kill everyone in the world. Poison Ivy only thought about herself in this situation, she didn’t care if his wife died and didn’t follow rule utilitarianism. If Poison Ivy killed everyone in the world the world would die, to me this doesn’t sound very mother nature friendly. She promises to come in peace and with a love of plants, but she is only an intolerant enforcer. She attempts to destroy vehicles, power plants, and other symbols of the "earth killers" in the name of helping nature and humanity, she is harmful and regressive to society. Wiping out the whole generation would not be following utilitarianism as she would have not thought about the happiness of the majority. Poison Ivy’s “perfect” world would crumble to pieces, families would live with trauma for the rest of their lives. She is planning to kill the earth by using her plants, she has the ability to control plants. She uses a carnivore plant called “The dawn”.
