Political action committees and special interest groups are organization essential in development and functionality of the professionalism bodies. Their function involves enhancing positive legislative factors and contributing toward the wellbeing of the healthcare sector. The impacts in healthcare especially in the nursing practice are observed through policies development and using the policies in making a concrete decision affecting health sector (Mason, Leavitt, & Chaffee, 2012). These records are used to provide patients history in terms of the health care provided and medication. Patient’s issues are complicated and for appropriate history of the patient’s information, stored record plays a major role in giving appropriate information regarding treatment. Therefore, nurses are supposed to ensure this information is properly recorded and stored according to the training (Gasper & Dillon, 2011). The use of the electronic devices and systems has made recording easier for nurses. Electronic health recording system has been extensively used in different hospitals and therefore proven as the most appropriate system in patients’ health information storage. The nurses are supposed to have knowledge in using these systems and electronic devices to cope with the technological improvement in health sector. Furthermore, registered nurse and licensed practical nurses seems as patient’s advocates especially in the health maintenance and clinical care. The registered nurses and licensed practical nurses are supposed to have knowledge and high understanding of the law that regulate nurses while on their duties. Having these understanding, nurses are also entitled to protect the patients through legal approach in ensuring they have received high quality health care (Patel & Rushefsky, 1999). The background of legal approach ensures to meet the customers need and giving them their entitled high quality services, ensuring they get medical care as entitled and hence prioritizing and organizing their schedule accordingly.
