While being pursed by Tasmanian Devil bonehunters, the musically talented Dog Y goes in search of his dogynaut father, whose space craft crashed while trying to save the world and now it’s up to Dog Y to complete the mission.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS:

FERNANDO, a dogynaut, is a skilled pilot. When he lands in Mexico, he immediately falls in love with ROSA, a Mexican beauty. They marry and have their first pup, DOG Y. Fernando hopes his son will follow in his footsteps as a dogynaut, but his hopes are dashed when Dog Y is more interested in his mother’s guitar.

Dog Y grows up wanting to be a musician. He’s terrible in flight school. Professor BONEHEAD tries to encourage Dog Y and shows him his “refer-rocket” invention. It’s the rocket of the future. …show more content…

The bonehunters snatch it up. They call over Poncho. He’s been working with the bonehunters all this time. They’ve been threatening him. Poncho feels guilty for betraying his new friends.

The bonehunters argue when suddenly the bone pops into the air. Poncho dives for it. He brings it back to Dog Y where it belongs. The festival begins, but Dog Y is disappointed not to find his father, but the realizes that means his father might be a live. Suddenly, CATZ ‘Y CAT storms in with his father, Fernando. He tells everyone how he survived the crash. He needs his son’s help to complete his mission with the bone.

The Bonehunters attack, but with the help of the robotic UFO, the bonehunters are defeated.

Dog Y and the team fly to the moon and bury the bone and pour water on it. They wait. The next morning a Woolly Mammoth is born and the land turns into a lush green paradise.
Jenny and Dog Y share a kiss. They have saved doggykind. Fernando learns that he has to let his son grow up and follow his own passion, even if it’s not being a dogynaut.
