How important has the Dadaism movement been for post modern artists such as Christopher wool and Andy Warhol?

In this essay I will be attempting to answer the question as to whether the Avant Garde movement of Dadaism was an important progression and influence for post modern artists of today. I have chosen this topic because Avant Garde and it’s sub genres i.e. Dadaism, modernism, pop art, has played a big part in shaping what art is today, moulding contemporary practice around the world and I would like to further this idea and answer it through my essay and research.
