Based on migration rates, there are more people leaving Mississippi each year than there are moving here. In order to stop this population decrease, we need to work out the major issues of Mississippi. These issues include health, education, and poverty. In order to come about with solutions for these problems, we must think on a worldwide scale and see how different states and countries resolve these matters. For the first case, we will discuss the health of Mississippi. In 2014 Mississippi was ranked the least healthy state in America. The biggest concerns were high rates of inactivity, obesity, and infectious diseases. When we look at the healthiest state, Hawaii, the residents live an average of 5.6 years longer than in ones of Mississippi. There have been many researchers than have attempted to determine the absolute solution for poverty in America. If Mississippi can take some of these tips, meant for the entire U.S., we can decrease the poverty percentage. The steps stated by the American researchers are definitely possible The solution to end poverty in Mississippi could be found in these steps: job creations, due to the unemployment percentages; job training, which can help workers develop the skills to find sources of employment; better education, which can elevate the economic circumstances of the workers; and then apprenticeships, which can fill job openings and help workers to pick up trades.
