Alexxus Roth Animal Farm In the book Animal Farm by George Orwell, it shows what power in the wrong hands can do to a community. After the animals overthrow Mr. Jones and take over the farm what they thought was bad, only got worse. This book is an allegory too the Russian Revolution, because it shows the hardship and how cruel Stalin and those in power were to the civilians. In Animal Farm the pigs were the leaders and the other animals were the civilians. In the beginning the animals thought the pigs would be good leaders, but soon after them gaining suspicion the pigs made them feel dumb and wrong about their thought. Although knowledge an education can bring about great changes, but in the wrong hands it is extremely dangerous because those in power can withhold information, those in power can break or make new laws, and those that are in power will discriminate against those weaker but different turn against them. …show more content…

They do this so that all the animals with continue liking them instead of knowing the truth and not going with them. If they knew the truth then the animals wouldn’t have followed their rules. An example, when leonean hired Mr. Whymper to be a solicitor for the farm. The whole time that he was around he kept everything secretly from the animals. The animals knew that he was around they just didn’t know what was going on between him and Napoleon.
