Motlow State Community College does not offer a cafeteria for students at the Smyrna Center. Constructing a cafeteria at Motlow State Community College would be beneficial for everyone, including the staff and students. A cafeteria would offer convenience for students and staff, increase the attendance rate, and allow students to engage in social interactions with one another. Not only is cafeteria favorable for the Motlow State community, but it would multiply the revenue for the school. Predominantly, constructing a cafeteria will improve the Smyrna campus as a whole.
Bigger athletic departments for instance Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, and Oregon may possibly be able to award stipends to each one of their athletes, both female and male, this includes profit-generating sports and non profit-generating sports. Nevertheless in 2009-10 there were only 22 of 120 FBS athletic departments that turned in a profit, according to the NCAA. So where does the money come from at an East Carolina University that needed $8.2 million pulled from the University general trust to support its budget, or what about a Arizona Sate University or Boston College University. Can these schools afford to pay their players let alone the rest of their athletes? Arizona Sate University has roughly around 500 athletes in 21 sports.

Good Afternoon Mike, I was told to contact you regarding Santa Fe College transferring in credits that I obtained for ACE credits. After speaking to Mary Thames in Health Services Department as well as Jackie (lead transcript evaluator) I was informed this morning that the college will not accept my credits because they were not obtained from a regionally accredited college. I am so incredibly saddened and disappointed with this news. It 's truly like ripping the floor right out from underneath me.
If you have ever walked through the quiet, sparsely populated halls of the Missouri City campus, you wouldn’t guess that it is probably the most controversial Houston Community College location. On Thursday Jan. 21, the governing board of HCC voted to sell the remaining 33 acre tract of unimproved property around the campus back to the Johnson Development Corporation, which the college originally bought the land from back in 2002 and 2004. These acres in the master-planned community of Sienna Plantation was declared a property surplus by the HCC board about a year ago. Thursday’s vote is another step in completing the relocation of the Missouri City campus to the new location adjacent to the Missouri City Hall building on Texas Parkway, where there is more sustained development by the city.

0529316 Prof. Barry Driscoll Poli Sci 101.01 23 September 2015 Liberal Grinnell College must create a stricter law than self-governance to become a more liberal institution. Grinnell’s current self-governance policy gives too much governing power to students. The institution lacks a constitution that students can rely on for protection in the face of injustice. Without definite laws, the liberal principle of the individual is difficult to uphold.
Deciding to attend Texas A&M University was both a hardship and immense, opportunity in my life. Coming from a close knit background, and possessing a very family oriented character, my decision to come to this incredible institution was one out of my comfort zone. If I was to be asked one year ago, If I could ever see myself standing on this marvelous campus, attending one of the top schools in the nation, I would have honestly responded, no. My counselors would have said no, my friends, my college advisor, my family. The answer would not have been yes, not because I wasn 't capable of meeting the standards to attend, but because there seemed more obstacles in my way than there was forces pushing me forward.
One of the most memorable experiences that I have had at Prairie Ridge was my participation in a group for new students organized by two great counselors: Mr. Dusenske and Mrs. Berg. I am very thankful for this experience because I was able to become comfortable and happy at Prairie Ridge alongside other students with whom I could empathize. Furthermore, without the encouragement and kindness from my peers or the PR staff, I would not have felt the desire to succeed , nor would I have stepped out of my comfort zone to do
