That was the name the Seminoles had referred to themselves as because of their refusal to be conquered and converted by the "white man". The Seminole Tribe has long had a unique history with both the land of the Southeastern United States, and with the government of the United States. Their relationship with the land has been drastically altered as the result of three Seminole wars which displaced and relocated the Seminole tribe. As a result of the persecution by President Andrew Jackson, members from a variety of tribes in the Southeast United States began migrating into Spanish Florida to seek refuge.

As a Latina been raised in the USA, I considered Latinos been a multi culture ethnic group. We do share some customs but no all, one of the distinctive are the fact that even though we speak the same language , our accent, pronunciation and some words can be same, but have different meanings, for example Dominican, Cuban and Puerto Rican. We all come from the Caribbean but our music, food, customs and some religious beliefs are totally different. Every country has their unique flavor; they own flags, celebrations, etc. therefore that allow some discrimination because everybody thinks their own kind is better than the others Latinos.
Paleo-Indians used spears referred to as Clovis points that were used to kill prey to obtain food, due to meat being a primary source of food for the tribe. Blunt end scrapers were used in addition to Clovis points so the tribe could butcher their meat and make clothing items to keep them warm. During the Archaic Era stone adzes were developed for woodworking purposes for permanent dwellings, another item manufactured by the Archaic Indians was grinding stones that aided in food production. Woodland Indians manufactured a weapon called the bow and arrow which helped them reach further targets while hunting and was adopted as a weapon of choice for hunting. Pottery was another invention of the Woodland Indians that was used for trading and storage.
The last members of the dying Native American Tribe, the Mohicans are living in peace alongside the British. They get there in time to fight off the Indians and save the British Colonel's daughters and Major Duncan Heyward. The Mohicans wanted nothing to do with the war, however, when the daughters are kidnapped by a man working for Magua, Hawkeye and Uncas had to rescue them in the war from the military conflict. There were only two original Mohicans, and then one adopted Mohican.
There is always a reason behind every attack that occurs in the past. The incident that took place in Pearl Harbor in 1941 was not a mistake, but in fact a well thought out plan by the Japanese. It all began in the nineteen thirties when the relationship between the United States and Japan grew progressively worse. Around 1854 United States Commodore Matthew Perry opened trade with Japan and other nations. It was no secret that Japan wanted to become a modern industrial nation and wanted economic control of the Asia-Pacific region.
Authority figures play many different roles in our lives, and far from all can be trusted. In the story Flowers For Algernon for example : the ‘scientists’ that Charlie trusts to cure his lack of cognitive ability, they know full well this will not end well for Charlie, and they treat him as more of an experiment rather than a human. Algernon, the original experiment in the story shows the repercussions of the experiment before as he was the first initially tested on, eventually passing from the regression. This being hidden as best as can from Charlie as the scientists want to continue on the experiment, despite the severe consequences that Charlie will have to live through. Of course we need some authority in society to run our lives
I have always loved hunting and the outdoors. When I was four I would always play tag with my ten year old cousin John. One day John ran into the woods, being that he was a little faster then me I got lost trying to find him. I hollered and yelled looking for somebody, and hoping a bear wouldn't come.
