Education is at the forefront of most new parent’s minds, which is why there is so much pressure on choosing a good preschool. Parents want to make sure that they give their children the best possible start to education, in order to create a solid foundation for success late in life. However, in society today, expectations placed on preschoolers are becoming more demanding, a trend that could have many negative consequences on the development of children. This idea is discussed in the article The New Preschool is Crushing Kids written by Erika Christakis. Christakis interconnects the audience, speaker, and subject as well as uses appeals to logic, emotion, and credibility to craft a strong and effective argument about how preschool has started to place too many expectations on preschoolers.

Noah Mammone Miss Wides English 11:2 6 May 2024 Selfish Ambition: The Ultimate Destruction Pain, agony, destruction; these are fears that humans have had ever since the Fall of Man. Interestingly enough, these fears all stem from the choices that we make. This is seen through the works of Hamlet, As I Lay Dying, The Temporary Job, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Each one of these works demonstrates specific examples of how humans interact with each other and how that correlates with ultimate destruction. In Hamlet, there is the death and destruction of many of the main characters, such as the King, the Queen, Hamlet, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.
You brought up an interesting topic that I usually find very fasinating. As you mention, some people belie baby talk delays baby development and Anne Fernald suggest talk to babies in a high pitch tone. My question, if babies, could hear and learned from the womb doesn’t tone of our voice truly matter? Studies of newborn behavior show that babies get used to the music and voices they 've heard in the womb. When your baby is born, if he hears sounds he 's heard before birth, he/he may respond by appearing more alert and active.

The first day of school can be exciting at any age. However, for many toddlers this can bring feelings of apprehension and fear. The unfamiliarity will often make it difficult for your child to feel comfortable going away to school. Preschool is an essential building block in your child’s development.
By the end of my speech, 212 underprivileged children around the world would be clenching their stomach and wobbling from garbage dumps to garbage dumps, searching for half- eaten food. 5 children in India would leave school to work in a dilapidated undergarment factory for 14 straight hours, enduring whipping, and pain just for 3 bowls of rice. 3 children in Africa would be dead after being beheaded by heartless invaders. The power to change this situation lies with every one of you present today. Basic necessity such as food, basic education, security are few of many things that underprivileged children lack.
