The Princess and the Frog is the only Disney Princess movie that is based on reality unlike Snow White or Sleeping Beauty who happened to become a princess by a “true love's kiss” and marrying a prince. These type of princess movies poisons little girls into thinking that if they find their prince they will become a princess and won’t have to do anything. They think that in life their dreams will come true magically and they don’t have to work hard for what they want. These Princess movies should not be seen by young girls. The Princess and the Frog is an accurate depiction of what women have to go through to accomplish their dreams, unlike some people who think life is a fairytale and things are going to just be handed over to them without working hard for it. …show more content…

You send them off into the world with a false mindset of I don’t have to work hard, only if I find a prince to take care of me.In reality you shouldn’t depend completely on others to take care of you and you should want to be hardworking and try to make your dreams come true for yourself. Princess Tiana is the first African American Disney Princess, she is a waitress that is hardworking and goal driven because her dream is to one day get a restaurant of her own. At the start of the film, she is always working multiple jobs and turning down spending time with her friends in order to get her restaurant. Tiana says “ The only way to get what you want in this world is through hard work” (The Princess of the Frog). This is the best advice any young girl can get from a Disney movie that no matter what her background is she should work hard for what she wants in
