Due to the type of original text, I deliberated a dialectical response to the audience by showing logos, ethos, and pathos in my argument. The purpose of my article was to indicate the shortage of writer’s views, to denounce the irrationality of the original topic, and finally to stand my own stance. While the general genre might be similar, that of this article provided an opportunity to weigh the advantages and disadvantages, to establish the counterarguments, and to expand logical analysis. Debating this issue and switching the stance of pro and con, I was able to practice argumentation skills, including significantly acknowledgements and warrants, to contradict and counter-argue original opinions for shaping my arguments.
