Problem Statement
There is an obesity epidemic in the United States. Losing weight is stressful, and it is not easy. Many people don’t know where to start. As well, there is a safe way to lose way. Losing weight and living a healthy lifestyle can be beneficial to anyone.

Purpose and Findings This report will focus on how to lose weight. There will be tips on how to lose weight. As well the nutrition and exercise factor in losing weight. This report will give multiple suggestion on how to lose weight. There are solutions to people who don’t have the money to make a 360 change.

Findings
A person does not have to be on a diet in order to lose weight. There are just a few changes that one can to do so they can live a healthy lifestyle and lose weight. Through out this report it is found that losing weight should be a goal, but also a lifestyle change. The person should look at these changes as long-term goal. The person can view losing weight as a long or short term goal.

What steps need to be done in order to see results. Each step is crucial to lose weight. Where do we start? In Nutrion.gov, the first step that it gives is to check your (BMI) – “an indicator of body fat”- and see where it fits within the BMI categories. BMI give you the range if the person is normal, overweight, obese, or morbid obese. This tool can help the person determine what how much weight they should lose. Mentioned before, discuss weight loss with your doctor and decide on a goal. If you have a lot of weight to lose, set a realistic intermediate goal, maybe to lose 10 pounds.
