Adoption takes place in different subject such as “the act or process of adopting a child, the act or process of beginning to use something new or different, or the act or process of giving official acceptance or approval to something” (merriam webster), but in this case I am talking about the act or process of adoption or putting children up for adoption. There are many parents who are not ready to take care of their expecting child, and also many parents who want a child to love, but for some reason can not conceive a child of their own. There are options when this type of situation happens, for those who are not ready for their child, adoption is one option and for those who can not conceive fertility treatments is also an option. Sometimes the mother gets to choose the family they want their child to be put up for adoption and raised by. When mothers do this they sign papers before the delivery of the baby and as soon as the baby is born, it is for the adoptive parents to make decisions for the baby and it is legally their baby. You would be surprise how many people are in want of a child and even keep a profile online for parents to see them and to want their child to grow up with them. This action is a much better option than the abortion of a child. Yes, abortion is a very commonly used action, not only is it not free, but it does come with side effects. Studies and reports of psychological problems show that after going through an abortion it has been criticized because of the difficulty in separating previous conditions and the circumstances of the un- planned pregnancy from the effect of the procedure, and the termination. (After Abortion, 1).For some people it makes it harder to get pregnant after having an abortion, and if not done properly it can cause severe damages, sometimes people get these damages over time in a slowly manner and eventually they can start to tell after time. Abortion is a horrible action of killing your own child, the big question is why not just put the child up for adoption? The answer is that many are teenagers and others are not ready either mentally or economically and believe abortion to be their only option. Some other mothers just want to abort because they do not want to lose their body figure. People decide to abort a lot of the times because they do not think things through and do not realize they could put their child up for adoption.
