The purpose of this project is to find out if energy can be generated from the bacterium that grows in the soil and if it can then what type of soil (Sandy, Silty or Clay soil) can harbor the most bacteria. The hypothesis of this project is if the bacteria that grow in the soil can generate energy then Clay soil has more chances of generating more energy because Clay soil has a lot of organic material and is rich in water, and water is most important thing for producing bacteria in a soil.
