The word ¨ego¨, is a word with many mixed views, ego is ¨ an Ethical theory that treats self-interest as the foundation for morality¨. This is a word said by Prometheus. Who was once known as ¨Equality 7-2521. He once lived in a place where no traces of modern technology are present. The life expectancy has is low, it is averaged at 45 years old. And there is no individuality in this world. Everyone addresses themselves as ¨we¨, and ¨they¨, there is no singular first person at all. Everyone lives for their ¨brothers¨. After Prometheus shows the light he made to the council of scholars, and they rejecter his idea and labeled him a traitor, he ran to the forest and was followed and then accompanied by Gaea, who was known as Liberty 5-2000, or …show more content…

Individuality has a very vague meaning, and runs very deep on human emotions. Ego is the main part of human individuality. Ego brings thoughts of self-praise or thoughts of being superior to others, as well as thoughts of being different and Unique. Individuality stems from this. And the way Prometheus gained his individuality is by first experiencing total “Brainwash”, in a sense, because he never ever had thoughts of individuality, everyone around him used “Plural First Person” and never any “ First Person Singular”. They addressed another person as “we”, and for a group of people as “us”. They have no for of individuality, and have known none since birth by the seems of it. He then discovered something that inspired him to learn more, and by learning more, he gained more knowledge than the rest of his so called “Brothers”. Then he meets the “Golden One” and they then start to communicate. They Communicate very solemnly and finally one day, Prometheus presents his discovery to the council of scholars, and he gets the opposite reaction of what he expected, he fled, the Golden one followed him and showed her affection, they both fled to the woods and found a remote location and found what looked to be a house and objects from the “forbidden times”. Making this house their home, they started to read old books and such, and learned Singular First Person. By
