Before Jeremiah was even born, he was a prophet for God. When Jeremiah grew up he was in training to live his life out for God and teach about him. As a 13 year old boy, Jesus said to Jeremiah, I have put my words into your mouth. Which meant that by saying that, God meant that Jeremiah would lead the destruction and building of nations that would than lead to Gods kingdom. Jeremiah, training to share Gods word throughout his whole life growing up, following Him through his whole journey, and striving to be a good man in all he did.
Growing up, Jeremiah had a lot of training in order to be a prophet of God. Growing up, his dad, a high priest during the reigns of King Josiah of Judah was a mentor for him. Hilkaih, his dad, is known for finding a lost book of the law at the temple in Jerusalem. Hilkaih was a great role model for many reason and I can see to why that Jeremiah would look up to him as his mentor growing up.

God had a plan for Jeremiah to be a prophet for him and share the word. Jeremiah did just that, he followed and loved Jesus and other people knew that. Like I said in paragraph 2 he learned from his mentor and father, Hilkaih. Hilkaih trained Jeremiah to be the prophet that he was by being there along the way in Jeremiah’s walk with the Lord. At one point, the people of Ananoth, his home town had plotted against him and to kill him because they thought that he would shut down the Ananoth
