Environmental science I think that it is very interesting how we came from being the hunter-gatherer people into becoming the agricultural people all simultaneously. I would have to say that I do agree with Jared Diamond on how we came to be agricultural people. He makes some very clear and accurate reasoning’s about how we came to be. I personally wish that most of us would have kept the hunter-gather instinct that is naturally in us and we could exploit that more throughout us nowadays. The first reason would be that you really do have to work less when you are a hunter or a gatherer in society. My grandpa is an old time farmer. That's how he lives and raised my mom. SoI know first hand that it works but I also know how stressful it is and how immensely hard it is too. it works and it can be done. Its healthier because farmers tend to only focus on certain cash crops and not a varied diet of crops. So the hunter-gather people could get all their nutrients and everything they needed when they gathered and they weren’t just stuck to one crop, and it showed too.
