Logan McFarland BA 366 26 September 2013 Professor Vos Strache Journals 1. After filling out the plot scores, it seemed that I fell into the Strategic Gamesman Orientation. I agree and disagree with this orientation. I agree with the orientation because I do see business in life and everyday normality’s. I worked for my dad this summer in a marketing job for his nutrition store and I learned a lot. However, I did not just go through the motions at work like most kids would do. I wanted to grow, expand, anything I could do to market my dad’s company better. I took many calculated risks through advertising campaigns through social media and more. As a “strategic gamesman” I believe my competitiveness and drive was up to par. Also, I got along …show more content…

My diversity score came out to be 56. I do believe this is accurate because although I interact with people from different types of backgrounds along with different races every day, I can make more of an effort to learn about those cultures. He was generally seen as good student as he gave off the aurora as a hard worker. In reality, my friend was a bad student, didn’t try on anything and slacked off. I also have seen a negative halo effect recently. My dad was interviewing a graphic designer for a job and I got the chance to sit in. My dad instantly viewed him as being a bad employee in the future because he was not well groomed and did not look professional when he showed up to the interview. Although the man possessed many skills and traits, his impression was viewed negatively and did not get the
