Police Body Cameras, also known as Body Worn Videos, have been central in a heated debate surrounding an aggressive and increasingly militarized police force, that through misconduct and controversy has lost the trust of the American people. These body cameras have the ability to rebuild this trust by providing accountability and training to the officers as well as crucial evidence for the courts. In the summer of 2014 a young man by the name of Michael Brown was shot down while fleeing arrest in Ferguson, Mo. The police officer, Darren Wilson, would not stand trial for his actions due to conflicting testimony and a lack of evidence against him.

On January 19th, 2010, photojournalist Paul Hansen took a photograph of a fifteen- year-old girl named Fabienne Cherisma, who’d been shot dead by police in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In March of the following year, Hanen’s picture was chosen as the Best International News Image at the Swedish Picture of the Year Awards, an award that would ignite a long-standing debate over the ethics of photographing disasters. No stranger to controversy, Hansen has a history of award-winning photography that pushes boundaries, a practice that has been prevalent throughout photojournalism since its earliest uses. His images often depict moments of tragedy and suffering seen in areas steeped in conflict or the throes of a disaster. They offer compelling views into the events that shape the lives of people that we’d otherwise have little or no access to witnessing.
“Pow” “Pow” sounds of gunshots fired by a police officer aiming toward an innocent person. To prevent things like this from happening again police officers should wear body cameras so we can see if they lie about the thing that actually happened during the scene of the crime. With body cameras we can also see if the victim telling the truth and if not we see the crime he had can commit for the police officer to use force. The reason police officers should wear body cameras is if the officer had used force on an individual should be permitted to view the video footage of their encounters before writing their incident report.
Everyone in life wants to fit in because why would anyone want to be left out? However, the fact that we want to fit in ruins some people's lives because of the limits they go to to accomplish our common goal. On the contrary, some lives are ruined by trying to stand out and not staying with the crowd. This is very clearly stated in two very different ways by Guy de Maupassant in the story “The Necklace” and by Ray Bradbury in “The Pedestrian”.
Should All Police Officers Wear Body Cameras? Surely everyone has wondered about the accountability of police officers, but maybe this will no longer be an issue. With the help of police body cameras, officers will be accountable for the good they do, and in some situations the awful actions. Although police body cameras would be a moral idea, there are some downsides. The body cameras could be seen as an invasion of privacy, as they would record everyday behavior for police officers, which is not necessary to record.
Body Cameras on Police Officers There are pro and cons to police officers wearing body cameras. In light of all the recent killings caused by the law, concern of the safety of both the authority figures and the public have caused the issue of there being a mandatory law that officers should have to wear body cameras at all time and make sure they are turned on whenever they are to interact with the public. Most recently there has been a plethora of killings of unarmed young minorities just for the simple reasoning that they looked "suspicious" or "they seemed like they were up to no good". The reason many states would like to put the law that every officer should be mandated to wear body cameras into place will be for the purpose of being able to record any interaction that an officer has with a person of the public.
Many people suggest that body cameras on police officers are effective in a robust way, but that is not always the case. Police body cameras cause multiple issues not only for the public, but for the officers themselves as well. The negative outcomes out these cameras being put to use on officers outweigh the positives. Many more problems occur when officers using this equipment.
Nowadays there have been a lot of accidents linking police officers. Right now in the 21st century, we are seeing more things that are questioning the police officer's behavior after there have been more reports of the assassination of color people and in which they are incriminating the officers. This is why I believe that Police officers should wear body cameras for their own safety when it comes to providing sufficient evidence and stop all the complaining that the people have against them. In the previous months, there have been situations that have come out in television and in social media where the assassinations of color people have been killed mostly by “white” police officers.
Debates regarding body cameras for police officers have come up frequently in the past years due to an increase of attention in the media of police officers killing black lives. I believe the use of body cameras for police officers can propose pros for the community; such as recording if an officer is not doing the right thing. Or if a citizen would want to make a complaint on an officer, internal affairs can pull the recording and investigate the matter to take care of the complaint appropriately. Another pro to having body cameras for officers is if an officer were to be killed on duty, evidence would be on film to identify who the suspect is and what had occurred on scene. “Fatal confrontations recorded by bystanders are now commonly used

Women tend to judge themselves on how they look just to make sure there keeping up with what society see as an idyllic women, when women are exposed to this idea that they have to keep a perfect image just to keep up with media, it teaches women that they do not have the right look because they feel as if they don’t add up to societies expectations of what women should look like, it makes them thing there not acceptable to society. The way in which law enforcement interacts with citizens can be categorized in two ways: just and unjust. Often times just means the justifiable actions made by an officer in order to maintain the peace in a situation. While on the other hand unjust means the actions made by an officer to deescalate a situation that cannot be justified by law but can be explained by stereotypes and or prejudice. In order for officers to be held accountable for their actions and not dependent upon on their word to justify their actions, officers should be required to wear body cameras. Despite cameras possibly altering the actions of an officer, police officers barring arms should be required to wear because a body camera will prevent the opportunity of their actions being justified by their words rather than the law, the grey area for the interpretation of
In the mid thirteenth centuries, the Black Plague had ended. And then the Renaissance was born. The renaissance was the time of Arts and humanism. Because of the Black Plague had ended the Medieval Times, there was no feudalism. Humanism was also one of thing that were important.
“If guys were turkey breasts, you could put them in a 350-degree oven on July Fourth, and they still wouldn't be done in time for Thanksgiving.” That is, according to Dave Barry, author of the short narrative “Tips for Women: How to Have a Relationship with a Guy”. This quote pretty much sums up the theme and humorous flavor of Barry’s story- that men will never be ready to commit to a relationship. It is up to the woman to remind him, not so subtly, that he is in fact in love with her, and she with him. Barry offers valuable insight into the mind of a man, bringing a hilarious aspect to a dramatic situation.
Keeping valued information, or keeping the outside world from the public is called censorship. Censorship varies on the levels of helpful to harmful. From keeping kids away from bad influences to the government not telling citizens where troops are located, censorship will continue affecting generations to come. Censorship, used by those in power to protect or control a society or group, leads to removing potential trauma to children, threatens anyone who opposes, and takes away rights. Censorship can be used to protect others like when a parent doesn 't let their children watch or read something.
