Providing birth control to teens without their parents being aware has been a huge debate across the world. Many parents believe that they should know when their children are sexually active and when they are receiving birth control. The teens on the other hand, feel that certain parts of their life should not be a secret but a private topic that their parents should not always know. Free clinics and schools have many debates on if they should provide them to teens to prevent pregnancy without parental signature or to have the parents present. The nurses trust that giving birth control to teens will prevent teen pregnancy and keep them on their toes about it. Others believe they should be available at the cost to those who can afford them. Some religious traditions oppose birth control availability for everyone and against it each and every way. There are religious traditions that oppose women’s autonomy, and as such are especially opposed to contraceptives for women. Some people who are against sex outside of marriage think that distribution of protection given in school encourage adolescent sexual activity. On the other hand, the people who are not for abortion but not birth control often favor protection being distributed to reduce pregnancies.

It is very important because the side effects vary and can result in possible death. Also if the proper guidance is not provided the outcome could lead to pregnancy, or the danger of contracting several sexual transmitted diseases. There’s another side that many may bring up is that kids that are young Is sexually active I don't believe they should have access that young. When an adult goes to their doctor to get birth control the doctor normally will do an exam, along with blood work to be sure you can take
