Why is the Philae mission important for scientific research? The Philae mission was important for scientific research because it dug up materials for the scientists to research and study. In passage 1 “A success in space” by Cameron Keady, it focuses on giving us information about the Philae and when it reached its destination. In passage 2 “Comet probe may shed light on Earth’s path” by Ashley Yeager, it focuses on telling us more about comets and the robotic lander. The Philae mission was important for scientific research because it helped scientists better understand and learn new things about our solar system.
Based on what information people have found, the moon landing really did happen. Although, some could possibly argue that it didn’t actually happen, evidence proves that astronauts landed on the moon. One of the ways we know that the Apollo mission actually happened, is that when the astronauts were on the moon they took pictures. On the astronauts spacesuits they had cameras mounted to chest part. This allowed the astronauts to capture live photographs while they were on the moon.
As we are living in the twenty-first century, scientific measurements take parts on almost every aspect of our lives. For example, new technological developments, election polls, and traffic conditions illustrate the use of social science. In A Passion of Fact by Tong Lam, he argues that Chinese adoption of using social science methods in the late nineteenth to early twentieth century completely transform China into a “fact-based society” by using survey as the basis. (Lam 2) However, Lam believes the transformation goes through many barriers because of populations, old traditional views, and internal conflicts (49).
One reason is that money in space should be spent on preserving Earth. From, Mars as a Backup Planet, Lucianne Walkoowicz says, “at the same time as we’re discovering this treasure trove of potentially habitable worlds, our own planet is sagging under the weight of humanity.” It’s important to notice that the author thinks that our Earth is dying and by the
Advance Exploration Space is beautiful , but expensive to travel. In fact the government threatens to cut the space program if it does not produce. Even though NASA had success with the moon landing and sending a monkey to space, the government feels that the cost of this program is not worth what it is producing. However, sending astronauts to space is one of the best and only ways to advance space exploration.
Child Labor Part 1 Children in America always had to work. When they lived with their family on a farm, they had to do their fair share of work in order to keep up with payments. As the industrial revolution began to change the economy, people became more urbanized. In order to pay for food and housing, the kids had to work in factories. The reason why there were so many jobs for children in the factories was that the owners could pay them less than an adult, and the children are less likely to go on strike.
Although many people try to argue that the United States didn't land on the moon I believe they did. There is proof that the U.S. did really land on the moon through videos, images, and even interviews with Neil Armstrong. Videos and images were taken during the Apollo 11 and there is a camera that remains today. This act that people believe is being faked costs about 150 billion dollars in today's money, who would pay that much to fake an event? I truly believe the moon landings of the U.S. are real!
Sending a human payload to Mars is the ultimate goal. Aerospace companies have launched rovers to Mars, but that was a step to create the idea of sending an astronaut to Mars. However, we need money, time, and new thoughts to develop in order to achieve the mission. Supporting scientists, engineers, and astronauts to construct new ideas, less expensive gear, and strategies that contain fewer risks would benefit greatly. This will allow enthusiasm and will promote to expand to their minds in further ideas.
The money used to build expensive gears for the exploration could be put to better use in things that would benefit the Earth in a more impactful way. Good: Better: There are numerous unforeseen events that can occur enroute to or on Mars. For instance, a human body is made for Earth's gravity. Staying in zero gravity for a long time can cause health issues.
This will make it easier for future generations to come to get the help they need to advance even farther than we ever hope to achieve. We hope that with they will be able to make more technological advances such as flying cars, teleportation, and possibly time travel. It is quite the stretch but with education wide open to people with curious mind I'm confident we can make it all possible. Where there's a will there's a
Space travel is very expensive. If you take into consideration the food, water, fuel, breathable air and all the parts necessary for the trip, you come to realize that those numbers add up. NASA’s plan for Mars includes a four
Many people think that space exploration is a waste of money. They think that people shouldn’t be looking to the stars and that space exploration is unnecessary. Then there is the people who think otherwise. People from NASA, or people who just in general love space ,want to fund for the cause. They think that space can help the economy improve and that there is more to space than stars and a bunch of planets.
What does make human mission to Mars beneficial? NASA unveiled their scheme of manned expedition to Mars by 2030, and it added fuel to the controversy of the question: Should humans explore to Mars instead of rovers or not. It goes without saying that manned expedition is more risky and needs billions of money. However, human exploration to the Red planet excels in its several benefits. Therefore, this essay will demonstrate three aspects of positive result of manned expedition; social changes, capability of human skills and step toward human settlement on Mars.
If Nasa and the Federal Government put more money towards space travel and development we could go to Mars or even farther. Space travel is worth all the research, resources, and time. Space travel takes an abundance of time and it is worth it. Gravity
Space exploration have brought many benefits to our society. It helped answered “questions about our place in the Universe and history of our solar system” (Wiles). Explorations that we made also made us wonder about the Universe that we did not explore. The challenges we faced in space exploration, such as Moon Landing and sending probes to our solar system became an expansion of our technology, knowledge, and connections among
