Illegal Immigrants
There is almost about an average of sixty five thousand undocumented students in the United States that do not have that option to get in-state tuition or go to college due to their legal status. Illegal immigrants should be allowed to go to college and get In-state tuition for the following reasons, the students shouldn’t be denied college education with or without legal status, the united states is a country of opportunities, and the students who are hard working and stand a high academic standard should be granted that wish to go to college.

Illegal immigrants do not qualify for in-state tuition or financial aid due to their legal status. Therefore, this is the main reason why immigrants have not been able to stay in college. Since out-of-state tuition is about three times as higher as in-state, many young immigrants forgo higher education(Green). It does not matter if the student has amazingly high grades, it affects them completely because they cant pay for college. In-state tuition should be offered to anyone who shows their abilities to max and it should not matter their legal status. It is ignorant to say that only citizens of the united states can only qualify for in-state tuition. The dream act is for undocumented students who are honor students and are amazing candidates to the community. Most of these students push them self's from their abilities because they want to pursuit the American dream by getting a career and having a life of many opportunities. These students are perfect but, all they are missing is a legal status. Illegal immigrants can make a difference having to do with a better future by granting a superior economic growth and enthusiasm for being a part of the so called, "Country of opportunities". It will make a grand impact in our economy if we let these undocumented students be a part of this great country. A students named Jacqueline who is a native from Mexico and has lived in North Carolina since she was nine years old has said that if one day they throw her out of the United States, she will become a teacher and teach English so students wont be bullied or think they are not capable of doing what citizens of the United States can do(us
