Illegal Immigration has become one of the biggest issues the United states faces in the 21st Century. Everyday more and more immigrants cross our border illegally to find work, education or even healthcare. While that may not sound all too bad, it creates a big question, who pays for all of this? And the answer to that question is you! The hardworking taxpayers of America. Millions of Americans are still blind to the fact that their tax money is going into programs like Welfare and Medicaid to be taken advantage of by Illegal immigrants. Illegal Immigrants residing inside the United States should not be given access to Government-Subsidized Healthcare or any other government programs like Welfare and should be deported.

Welfare is a government program for poor or unemployed american citizens that helps pay for their basic needs like food, medical costs, housing, etc. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, in 2012 about 62% of all Illegal Immigrant households were using any kind of Welfare. According to the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), an organization that focuses on tax policy issues, Illegal Aliens payed over 10.6 Billion in state and local taxes in 2010. These immigrants paid an average of 6.4% of their income into the Federal and State Tax System. Another example is social security. According the SSA (Social Security Administration), these unauthorized immigrants have paid over $100 Billion into the program in the past decade. Without immigrants, it is projected that the Social Security System will be unable to fully pay out all promised benefits.
