In my opinion, I think that the drawbacks to the Industrial Revolution presented in this article are more important than the pros. For example, the Industrial Revolution harmed factory workers. Long working hours and unsanitary working conditions led to illness and death. In addition, deaths were also caused by uncovered machinery that was not covered properly. New trends and lifestyles caused a paradigm shift in society. This changed how people thought about technology. Although the Industrial Revolution did promote new technologies that were more convenient than previous methods, the drawbacks not only put people’s lives at risk, but it also put our planet at risk. Most of these new innovations required chemicals that pollute the Earth.
