Lady Ferguson Politics in Texas have come a long way since the very first Governor in 1874. Even within the years between 1874 and 1933, there was a big step taken for our state. That big step was the first woman elected as governor in 1933, Miriam “Ma” Ferguson. She accomplished what no woman in the 20’s thought was possible. She made history, though she faced adversity and obstacles during her governorship, she would return for a second term in 1932.
Before coming to Full Sail University, I had encountered many obstacles. One in particular placed so much doubt in my mind and made me question if this was what I truly wanted to do, or who I wanted to become. Leave my family that is grieving over our loved one, or follow my dreams that my grandmother wanted to see being achieved? This was the hardest decision, each passing day tore me in two and knowing that both of you have doubts about this career choice, because you don’t see what it does and can do. What I’ve faced is similar to her, yet different as well this female artist started at the bottom and slowly worked her way to the top.
Mass hysteria has occurred everywhere in the world, but one question is asked; Who starts it? In 1692, Salem, Massachusetts a hysteria about witchcraft in the town breaks out and many innocent people will lose their lives. Abigail Williams is a servant in the town and in my opinion should be held responsible for the witchcraft hysteria and here’s why.

Death Is a Powerful Motivator In “The Things They Carried”, Tim O’Brien, the author, portrays his own experience in the Vietnam War. Although O’Brien fabricated some of the stories and exaggerated some of the parts, the main idea O’Brien wished to display is present. He wanted to allow the reader a view of the war along with the physical burdens and emotional burdens the soldiers carried with them. These burdens effected the soldiers and helped define them as people.
Mrs. Maria Teresa Garza is a great example of discipline and persistence in accomplishing her dream of teaching. She has been a teacher for about twenty two and a half years until this day she's enjoying every moment of it. Throughout her years in the teaching industry, she's been in so many schools within the United Independent School District and even moved to a higher position. Starting off her first year in teaching, she taught second grade in Perez Elementary School teaching all subjects such as Math, Reading, Science, English, and History. She described it as “Fun, but yet challenging at first since it was my first year.”
Looking back on it, she tells me that if there were one thing that she were going to change, it would have to be majoring in teaching at the very beginning, since now she knows that teaching is her calling and that it’s definitely where she should be. She tells me that she wishes she “had more years teaching” and would have if she had majored in teaching at the very beginning. On the other hand, she wouldn’t have realized that she didn’t like “professors who are just there to have a job and professors that aren’t super dedicated”, which likely helps her to be the teacher that she is today. She ponders, “I think that on one hand, I wish I could just start with that and begin with teaching, but on the other hand, being a mom first, I think, has made me a better
I have always been a very caring person, so deciding to be a teacher came naturally, having an extreme level of patience, and an attention to students needs I believe my skill set will best be used teaching Special Education. I have been in Teaching Academy for 3 years, where I have worked with special education students and fell in love with them teaching. If later in life I chose to pursue teaching a different subject I would hope to still have a connection with students and help those especially who get as discouraged as I do in school.if anything is to come from my mistakes at school I hope it's to encourage others not to make the same. Being a teacher is a goal I have set for myself, I know it will not be easy and it will not always be rewarding but if I can help at least one student I will be able to die satisfied I ask again who is Cecilia Gallegos?
The attached resume details my experience and training within the fine arts. Not only I've had training and learning experiences in the arts, I've also worked with others and teaching them the skills that I've learned. My educational background has given me a strong understanding of art and the wonderful experience that goes with it. I am applying for this position because I'm passionate about all art forms and I also enjoy teaching. My teaching philosophy is to have fun, enjoy what you are passionate about, create, and to make it your own.
And you must be mentally ready that not every day is going to be a good day in the classroom.” This had me realizing that teachers, put in so much of their time for their students and sometimes are not appreciated and given the credit they deserve. Besides the negative parts that can possibly occur she also explained how there are days where everything is going smoothly and there is so much cooperation and participation going on in class. With that being said I believe that although this career seems easy, teachers need to be mentally and emotionally prepared for each and every day in the
To be a good interrogator it requires more than confidence and creativity although it does help, but interrogators are very well trained in the mental tactics of social impact. An interrogators task is to get someone to confess to a crime, but it is not easy. While it isn’t easy for them, sometimes they will end up with confessions from the innocent testifies because of the expertise in psychological manipulation interrogators have. The interrogation process has been manipulated over the years and they are using unethical approaches to gain information or a confession from suspects. But in the law of confessions, it is required that confessions are not coerced but be voluntary so that it is admitted into evidence.
This job really taught me about the importance of children having a routine to follow as well as the impact teachers can have on a child’s life. After my first year in college, I realized that I wanted to gain more experience with children of all ages. Shortly after,
