When you think of success what comes to mind? In sports it’s making it to the pros. In business it’s making your first million. In high school it can be as simple as acing that test you studied for all night. No matter what profession you are in, success is the desired goal.

Yet some stand out more than others such as the #1 national bestsellers, Outliers the story of success by Malcom Gladwell as well as Daniel Pink with his book Drive. These two texts are very similar and will most certainly show important examples of success. Malcolm Gladwell shares valuable lessons that are becoming more successful which can learn to help them succeed. He describes the lives and careers of successful people.

Everyone desires being successful and living a life full of happiness. In my own definition, there are many factors that play a role in being successful. Taking on opportunities and challenges, and having academic excellence is what I desire most in my life. The school I am currently attending is fairly small and there are very little opportunities there. Teaching is a big part of me as I have taught many of my friends and other students. I have used my talent as an artist to give life to the words and diagram in the textbook. I have used my art to help people visualize abstract thinking and understand different concepts, especially when it comes to chemistry, biology, and physics. Through the art, I have tried to make a learning more of a fun and challenging by using the ideas of everyday objects.
