Revolutions have a trend of distributing rights unevenly because they go through various phases when the people or leaders have different priorities. The purpose of rights is to protect people with no power, and let people have freedom of speech, press, and religion. Revolutions start when there is a failure to meet the needs of the lower class, since failure of certain rights and opportunities leads to radicalization. During the Enlightenment, when new thinkers came forward with groundbreaking philosophies, a vast number of people questioned the rights they received. Revolutions are even or uneven based on social class, and point of view of different economic, political, and social views. Revolution’s occur in separate ways, and almost always occur because of a combination of political, economic, and social problems. There is a group of people who are treated unfairly and start to revolt against their leaders. Even if a revolution is successful people will never be treated with equal respect and rights. The roots that the country's former leaders made will have an impact on what the people believe in and the social structure remains the same, making some people say that the revolution was uneven.
