The Jenny Craig Diet is an infamous television commercial. The commercial tells us “eat what you want and still lose weight.” That's not always true. This would be known as propoganda, here is the thing, you can not believe everything you see on television and/or social media. They advertise so much to get money, consumers, and be able to meet the demands of people. Overweight or not. Food carries something that adds fat to our bodies called calories. The thing is there are 285 calories in a pizza. There are 132 calories in a cookie. In a whole cake there are 106 calories in a cake. The idea is to LOSE weight not gain more. Now, let's think “The magic number of calories bandied about for decades has been 3,500—subtract that number from your diet or burn off 3,500 calories more than what you consume, and you'll lose 1 lb.” …show more content…

Foods carry so many calories and there is no way that you can he able to consume only so much. If you consume a lot of calories you'll gain weight. As I was taught in Food and Nutrition there is not a way to diet with these types of foods. The way they advertise it makes people think “Oh yes I can eat pizza and and I can lose weight!” You have to find a way to burn all the calories and/or more than what you consume.
