Many say that people of high authority make wrong decisions, how would you handle it if you were in such high power. I believe that FDR and LBJ made a wise decision for the greater good of society.They made positive impacts that affect society to this day and it wouldn’t be the same without them.

FDR did something that helped greatly during the Great Depression. The package of legislative reforms that is known as the New Deal. This dramatically transformed the politics and economy of the United States even in the long run. His New Deal program delivered the 3 Rs: relief, recovery, and reform. The New Deal Was made in the third year of the Great Depression. At the time FDR was inaugurated in March 1933, unemployment had reached a level of over 30%. This was in a time, when women worked in the home, instead of in the group who worked for a wage. Johnson in 1964–1965. The main goal was to take away poverty and racial injustice. LBJ sponsored the largest reform agenda since Roosevelt's New Deal. In his first State of the Union message, he called for a war on poverty and the creation of a "Great Society," a prosperous nation that had overcome racial divisions. This ultimately benefited a lot of people and the community, this made the Economic Opportunity Act. This was the main focus of the War on Poverty. The Great Society also had better education for children, renewed Urban communities and also provided health care / medicare. Just like the New Deal, it has some faults like the overgrowth, programs grew too quickly and became unmanageable. There was also lack of public support, people didn’t like how the government put their nose in the people’s lives. The government couldn’t pay for all this and the Vietnam War so the Great Society couldn’t be what it could have
