If I had the chance to do it again I would like to resolve a conflict that I had with a customer when I use to work at Wal-Mart Canada. Conflict is a serious argument between people who have different views and opinion on specific matters. Conflict can be either a positive or negative conflict depending on the type of situation people are dealing with. According to Thomas Kilmann, there are five methods of dealing with conflicts which are competing, accommodating, avoiding, collaborating, and compromising (Kenneth & Ralph, 2017). Everyone has different ways of solving conflicts, but in today’s society, people usually use competing skill to deal with conflicts. Cooperativeness is where a person attempts to satisfy the other person concerns, where assertiveness is when a person attempts to satisfy their own concerns (Kenneth & Ralph, 2017). Working at Wal-mart Canada itself is a changeling job, where I had to deal with some insane customer. One of the biggest conflicts that I have come across is the time when I use to work as a cashier for Wal-mart Canada. At Wal-mart Canada, I have gotten into many conflicts with the customers, and usually, the outcome was bad. It was during the month of August, where one day I checked out this woman who bought few cans of soda and dairy products, and the total bill was around $60. After dealing with few customers, it was my time for my 15-minute break, where I saw that lady walking towards my counter. She told me that I have charged her with extra money and that she wants her money back. She pulled out the bill and a calculator, where she started doing her own calculations. I asked her to show me the bill so that I can figure out the problem that she had. After looking at the bill I told her that I did not charge her with extra money and I
