After reading your post, I think you did a great job in explaining your case from a Christian perspective. You made some valid points. However, in integrating the two, psychology and our Christian faith what would be the approach? In addition, what if you are counseling someone that don't blatantly confess that they are a believer? Moreover, we as Christian counseling know that the root of the brokenness that people are dealing with derive from the act of sin.
