Sovereign citizens are anti-government extremists that believe that even though they reside in the United States that they are separate from the country. They do not believe that the government has any control or authority over them. Sovereign citizens believe that the government has no right to tax them, issue licenses, or do many of the other things that the average American citizen has accepted as the roles of government. Sovereign citizens have been known to commit murder or threaten harm of judges, law enforcement and government officials. Some groups or individuals use their sovereign claims in an attempt to avoid legal trouble and circumvent common traffic laws.
The government of the United States is a massive and complex organization. Its purpose is to improve and protect the lives of American citizens, both at home and overseas. Because its functions are so numerous and varied, the government operates on several different levels--national, state, and local. At each of these levels the government makes certain demands on its citizens. But this is only to promote the general welfare of the society as a whole.

Legislative Branch is the most interesting branch! The Legislative Branch includes, House of Representatives and the Senate. Which forms the United States Congress. Senate is up for reelection every two years. The House of Representatives is made up of 435 elected members.
I went to the Free Lunch Program on Saturday, August 28th. I got there at noon and people had just started getting their food. There was a line inside that went to the door. There were also quite a few individuals sitting outside of the facility. The first thing I noticed was that there were three police officers outside of the facility talking to two very calm individuals.
Foster the People is an indie rock band that was formed in 2009 in Los Angeles by Mark Foster. The group is comprised of three members, Mark Foster (multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter), Cubbie Fink (bass) and Mark Pontius (drummer). I aspire to make a social economic impact. As many administrations take over it affects the cultures and norms of a society. Thus throughout my high-school experienced, I attempted to learn about all the levels of aspect that government has to work along to maintain a striving community (economic-wise). My determination fro change comes from a country I once use to call home. Ecuador is a developing country.
Basically, from the article that I have read it actually reminds me again the real sense of being a Public Servant. The reading talks about The New Public Service; Serving rather Steering from the American Society of Public Administration (Advancing Excellence in Public Service) by Robert B. Denhardt & Janet Vinzant Denhardt from the Arizona State University. Personally, the underlying issues that were discussed are the following; The New Public Management & the Old Public Administration, Theories of Democratic Citizenship, Roots of the New Public Service, Models of Community & Civil Society, and Organizational Humanism & Discourse theory. First of all, I had the opportunity to interview Kim Bartells who’s a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Michealsen Health Center and learn more about her role as a social work. Before I started interviewing Kim, I asked her if it was alright with her if I recorded the conversation and she said it was fine with it. I started the interview with asking what type of population Michealsen Health Center serves and she told me it was mostly elderly people. Kim works in a “Microlevel intervention involves working with individuals--- separately, in families, or in small groups---to facilitate change in individual behavior or in relationship” (DuBois and Miley 69). This types of individuals she is working with are elderly residents “who utilize long-term care experience a combination of physical or cognitive limitation that require some level of assistance in activities of daily living” (DuBois and Miley 314-315) and their families as well.
This research is important in order to assess the overall status of shared services within the standards community and to understand why some shared service solutions are more or less successful than others. In this way Standards bodies can build on each other’s experiences and work together better in line with the overall goal and objective of standards in the real world of business, public services and home communities. The processes and objectives of each NSB are very similar so it makes sense to work more closely together and share systems however this is not happening as a norm for most standards bodies so the question is why and what needs to be done to make shared services work. My understanding of Human Services is to help people who need additional help and guidence to move forward with their life. Sometimes people need help with external problems such as the loss of a job, the need for food or housing or for help getting out of a dangerous situation or mental and physical health crisis. The Human Services practitioner is a professional who acts as an agent to assist and or empower individulas, groups, families and communities to help them function more effectivly in all areas of life and improve living condition. Human Service professional will always advocate for their clients and will never give up on them and make sure to strive for the clients well being as long as the client want to change.

However, by the 1970s, there were calls for introducing a new management system based on market orientation. The need for such a management system was seen in the increasing number of harsh criticisms that showed that traditional public administration was no longer suitable, and thus should be replaced.
