As an All-American you show many different qualities that make athletes stand out from typical athletes. An All-American is someone who is dedicated to their sport. All-Americans show certain qualities that make them stand out to the rest of athletes. They are very talented in what they do. They typically have this talent that they were just giving that makes them easy to compete at high levels. People that are All-Americans have a strong work ethic. They typically put in lots of effort to improve themselves in their sport. They are willing to put time in to improve skills that most people might not want to do to reach full potential. When in tough situations an athlete at this caliber can stay focused and stay when under pressure. They should also have good leadership skills and should be a leader on their team. When being a leader they help motivate their team and create a strong bond with them to improve their team's playing skills. An all American should also show great sportsmanship. Athletes should be able to embody sportsmanship and fair play. They should be able to show respect to opponents and officials regardless of the outcome of the game. I’ve also shown dedication when it has come to my injury. I put in my dedication to get better after surgery so I could be there for my team since I know they counted on me. I show talent by just naturally having a talent for the sport. This lets me compete at my highest level against some of the best bowlers in the state and country. I have a strong work ethic by working hard to better myself. I am always practicing to improve my game, working hard with our athletic trainers with my rehab and making me stronger, working hard to better my mental toughness to make me better when in the competition state of mind. I practice hard on days that I should take a rest day all because of my love for the sport and goals to become better. I show mental toughness because I can handle the stress and pressure the sport comes with. I bowl anchor position which puts lots of pressure on me. I am perfect for it though because I can take the pressure to make me do better to support my team. I get the pressure from trying to support my team and I can handle it because I do not want to let my team down. I show leadership because of my competitive drive and wanting to win. I give motivation to my teammates. My teammates who are the same age as me or older
