Goosebumps is a fantasy/action film adaption of R.L Stine’s Goosebumps books. Released in 2015, Goosebumps tells the adventure of Zach Cooper, who accidently unleashes R.L Stine’s monsters by opening his books. Zach, Champ (his best friend), R.L Stine, and Hannah (R.L Stine’s daughter) work together to capture the demons back into the manuscripts before they destroy the small-town, Madison. Throughout the film, the audience is positioned to feel anticipation and tension. These emotions are created through the clever use of music/sound effects, symbolism, and foreshadowing.
