Throughout the world today millions of people tune into the news and listen to podcasts and people really listen to these messages, but how did the news make people listen? During the time of the World Wars, most journalists worked hard to produce good and factual stories and headlines. The Nazi leader, Hitler did the opposite; he had the idea of making hateful news to target the Jewish community and gain support along the way. Hitler started making radio broadcasts in order to spread his malicious comments all around the world, but during World War II these radio broadcasts became very popular and got a lot of attention. John Whitton argues that, “Radio propaganda has been employed, not merely as a gradual process of molding the minds of the peoples, often far from the scene of conflict; it has also become an instrument in actual battle.
